Fundraiser by Shawn Carey : Medical Expenses After Having a Heart Valve Replaced

9/8/25 Due to continuing health issues I have not been reading much the past few months and that is why there have been no new reviews since Mountain of Fire. Had a heart valve replaced and that seems to have taken care of the reading issues. I am currently reading Swords and Larceny edited by David Afsharirad and Mark Finn. I am about three quarters of the way through that book and it has been a fun read. After that, I will read Dancing with Destruction edited by Jason Cordova and Welcome to the Jungle by John Ringo. I also need to finish reading Across an Ocean of Stars by Robert E. Hampson. I have read about three quarters of that novel before reading became difficult.

1/10/24 Due to health issues, I have not had much time to read recently and at times found it hard to concentrate. Most of last year basically. Hopefully that period is over with and I can work on building this site. My plans are to expand the short interviews I write for Amazon and Barnes & Noble and post deeper more complex reviews on this site about the same books.

Books I plan on reading currently are The Jazzman’s Requiem by William Alan Webb and Kevin Steverson. Protected Species by Charles E. Gannon. Down These Mean Streets: Edited by Larry Correia and Kazy Ezell. An Angel Called Peterbilt by Eric Flint and company. Beyond Enemies by Marsia Wolf and one or two forthcoming books from Chris Kennedy Publishing. I am currently reading Winged Hussars Andromeda by Mark Wandrey. That novel and Among the Gray Lords by DJ Butler should my next two reviews up on the site.

Now if I could remember how to change the color of the page and text. Been a while since I have done anything on the site. Lets see . . .
